This is a 100% plug and play, bolt on hybrid turbo upgrade for 2.0 TDI engines (BMN, BMR, BUY, BUZ), suitable for ~230 bhp.
This turbo is best when you're not ready to upgrade other supporting mods, but would like a hybrid turbo upgrade or need a simple replacement.
It's essentially a PD150 turbo with a larger compressor wheel and housing and reinforced bearings for reliability. Fully balanced and actuator precisely calibrated - ready to install.

Supporting Mods
4 Bar MAP Sensor
A 4 bar MAP sensor is highly recommended to allow the ECU to monitor higher boost levels. The stock MAP sensor for a PD130 is 3 bar absolute (2 bar boost).
Boost Gauge
Whenever modifying boost related components including both turbochargers and inter coolers it's essential to monitor your boost levels with a boost pressure gauge. Many things can cause over-boost or under-boost; vacuum problems, faulty or sticky n75 valve, incorrect software/remap calibration and so on. To protect your engine, new turbo and its warranty, and to diagnose issues faster, we say again, monitor your boost levels.
Exhaust
Upgrading/de-restricting the exhaust helps reduce engine back pressure and promote better airflow. For example, larger diameter exhaust, and catalytic converter removal (for off road use) will improve turbo spool and prevent high back pressure occurring from the additional exhaust produced.
Remap
Once you have all the hardware setup, take your car for a custom remap and have everything calibrated into the software. Don't leave it too long though, driving with a turbo upgrade and no remap is a recipe for disaster as the ECU won't know how to control the new turbo with an old calibration. At best, this causes high Exhaust Manifold Pressure (EMP) and boost pressure, blowing seals and in the worst case, entire compressor wheels.
